High-Protein Buffalo Chicken Pasta
Turn classic buffalo chicken flavor into a satisfying high-protein meal prep. Tender chicken breast, protein pasta, buffalo sauce, Greek yogurt and reduced-fat cheese create a creamy, spicy pasta that is easy to portion for the week.
High-Protein Buffalo Chicken Pasta

Ingredients
- 12 oz high-protein pasta, such as penne or rotini
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce, preferably lower-sugar
- 1/2 cup reduced-fat cream cheese
- 1/2 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped celery, red pepper flakes, ranch seasoning or blue cheese crumbles
Instructions
- Cook the protein pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Cook until the center reaches 165°F, then rest briefly and slice or shred.
- Over medium-low heat, combine buffalo sauce and reduced-fat cream cheese until smooth. Remove from high heat before stirring in the Greek yogurt.
- Add the chicken to the buffalo sauce and toss until evenly coated.
- Add the cooked pasta and stir in half of the shredded cheddar.
- Divide evenly among four meal-prep containers and top with the remaining cheese and green onions.
- Refrigerate in airtight containers for up to 4 days. Reheat until hot before serving.
